I have played with puppy linux on several computers and it loads and works great...
my problem is on my my tower...mobo P4C800-E deluxe with the 875P chipset....CPU P4 C 3.0 @3.6
puppy will not load...its the chipset I think...anyone know a workaround for this or a different distro that will work...small, works totally in ram like puppy

My favourite for that is slax, DSL is also an option.

PCLinuxOS-mini me is also good at running from RAM. GoblinX is a Slax based disto that is also good.

thanks ...I'll give them a try....kinda like puppy though...oh well maybe down the road they will start supporting the 875 chipset
