A window kept appearing on my computer everytime I would start it up. It was for Sonic Update Manager. The window says that the sonic update manager is looking for the sonic update manager disk. I don't have the disk and have no idea what it's about so I just uninstalled it.

NOW... whenever I go to a Microsoft file, like a word or powerpoint file, it says it's unable to find the program. i need to "browse" in order to open the file i want. does that make sense? so usually, when you have a word file, it has a blue "W" icon. now, it's just some random, weird icon for all my word files. what do I do???
