you mean start > run > C:\Program FilesHave you ever opened the programme files folder
if so then yes
if you mean something else then you'll have to tell me because its not ringing many bells...

It says its being used by another user/thingThat's the one, find windows media player, click the folder to highlight, click move, move it to my documents, reboot

If you haven't got VLC player, try that to see if it will run the firefox things etc

Its not like really important more like a nuscence (sp?)
if I need to see a vid that bad I'll just use IE....

cause it looks like your install was incomplete
after your done installing then uninstall windows player 11
disable firefox while you do this

I'm not sureThere is an advanced codec pack which will probably run MP11 with firefox
Is the version of 11 you have, the one released today or the beta
it may be the Beta
its version 11.0.5705.5043

yes I have reinstalled it.....have you tried to just do a reinstall
cause it looks like your install was incomplete
after your done installing then uninstall windows player 11
disable firefox while you do this
but what I want to do is rollback to WMP 10 because there isn't a codec out for Firefox (for free anyway) nor is there a free codec out so I can play DVD's in WMP11 (to the best of my knowledge anyway)...
