Sorry for the same tired old question, but I just got a message from AVG that they will be discontinuing support for the AVG Free edition in late January 2007. I've been using AVG for a couple of years and it has worked well for me.

I'm also coming up on my annual subscription renewal for my Computer Associates Pest Patrol in the next 30 days, so it's probably a good time to reevaluate my anti spyware software.

My firewall is the Zone Alarm Free version.

I'm not dead set against a "security suite", but Norton left a bad taste in my mouth.

So... got any current recommendations for AV & Spyware apps?
