Hello,

When I get an e-mail and there is a link to a web page, I used to be able to click on it and it would open IE and bring me to the web page.

Now when I click on it, it opens IE, but gives me a blank page.

How can I get my web links to work again?

Thank you.

Have you installed and/or uninstalled another web browser? Sometimes email interface software, such as Earthlink and AOL, can cause conflicts.

What versions of Windows, Outlook Express, and Internet Explorer are you running? Is everything up-to-date? If not, install all available updates.

You can do System File Checker to reinstall missing/corrupt system files. Click Start, Run and type SFC /SCANNOW. You'll most likely be prompted to insert your Windows CD.

You might also try reinstalling Internet Explorer. Search your computer for ie.inf (usually in Windows\INF). Right-click it and choose Install.
