My mobo is: here,

and I'm considering buying: this cpu.

Would the fact that its a) 3.066 as opposed to 3.06 and b) 1mb L2 cache as opposed to 512kb L2 cache make a difference please?

that CPU is not compatible with the mobo....go here to see what is compatible...pick from the list anything that says OK

Yeah, I'm aware of that page, but both differences are minor so was hoping they would make a difference.

Problem is, I can't find the fastest compatible anywhere.

if that cpu would work ...they would gladly include it as compatible...same for all the board makers...if you mix and match outside the recommened hardware...you are guaranteed to have grief...just depends on how much pain you want in your life
