I have a problem. I created a .avi from a dvd I had and that played fine, but I only needed a clip of the movie
for a presentation I have to do at school. I first tried to embed the avi into my powerpoint presentation, but realized real late that I couldn't do that, but a .swf (shockwave flash) file could be. So I put the avi into Movie Maker, cut the clip exactly how I wanted it to be, but only when I play it...and it doesn't matter what player I play it in, it's either horribly out of sync or choppy or both. First how do I get the video and audio back in sync because the whole movie played fine. Second, how do I embed a video file avi or otherwise into a powerpoint presentation. :whistling:

I think that avi file is encoded with xvid or divx codec . Download a video converter and convert it into wmv file and u can insert wmv files in powerpoint

Download GX TRANSCODER .It is a freeware and convert any video format
