When recording an audio CD using Win. Media Player, the recorded CD will play on my portable CD player. However when I attempt to play that same CD in my home system I receive a message saying it has failed. Why is this happening?

it's possible that your home stereo isn't capable of playing MP3s (i'm assuming that you're burning the files as MP3?) not all cd players cna play mp3 cds...most if not all older players deffinitely cannot
