Computer fan problem

Earlier I used to hear the fan rev up and it used to spin so fast when the computer heated up or whenever I restarted, now it doesn't do that anymore. Also my computer just seems to restart itself randomnly, and I think it's due to the heat build up.

Sometimes when Im just listening to music and surfing the web, the computer just restarts, just like that.

Hi and welcome to Geeks to Go. The fan you mentioned may have stopped working. Open the case and check. Maybe you need to replace it.
