I'm currently off-site and had to aqcuire another PC to continue work; but I still need to get into my 'old' PC to get back some other work.
Here is the error message as seen verbatim on screen:
"Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:
\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM
You can attempt to repair this file by starting Windows Setup using the original Setup CD-ROM.
Select 'r' at the first screen to start repair."
Windows came pre-loaded on these PCs so I am without the 'Set-up CD-ROM'.
Please provide any advice you can give. Thanks in advance!
