have a intel pentium 2...my windows is appearing as not genuine..not sure why..have no xp cd or xp sticker on computer..is there anyway it can be fixed? or is it fine to just leave..im not paying the money to validate it..this computer was built from scratcha dn everything seems to be working fine just can do updates

If the machine is being flagged as having a non genuine copy of Windows then it probably is non-genuine and the only real solution is to replace it with a genuine copy. If you do not have an XP CD or an XP sticker, then it is almost certainty not genuine.

I am with Neil Jones, If it didn't come with a CD or a sticker it is most likely that it isn't a genuine copy of Windows. I recommend getting your own copy.
