:whistling: My PC shutdown process has been acting up for sometime. About 50% of the time it goes directly to the final windows blue screen and bypasses the screen that tells me it is saving my settings and logging off. I have to turn it off with the power switch. When this happens I get the scan disk function the next time I start but it has never caused a problem...until now. Now it does not recognize that an email account existed. The scan disk indicated that it had "truncated" two files or clusters related to thunderbird. Now when I try to open thunderbird I get the new account screen.

Is there any way to recover the addressbook or saved emails?
