Got a computer about 6 years old. It wont run the kids games as it is 98. It has a split drive. I think I need to wipe it clean and then reload it with XP.
I have virtually no knowledge - please can someone tell me how to blank the thing totally so that I can start again from scratch?

if you don't have the recommended not the minimum hardware...xp will be slow and sluggish at best and just hang if you try running intensive apps
