My ex (who will surely read this, but at this point, I don't care), must have copied my Windows files (there are two sets on my computer now) and given himself root access to my computer. How do I get him out?

You should just be able to delete the parallel Windows installation, and set a password for all accounts, including the hidden "Administrator" account. To access the administrator account press Ctrl+Alt+Delete at the XP logon screen, or boot in safe mode.

That will keep most people out, however if he really wants to get into your system and he knows what he's doing, it very difficult if not impossible to keep him out. :D

You should probably also check your system for key logggers and other tracking programs that may have been installed. See the Hijack This link in my signature, and reply with a log, if you'd like us to take a look for you. <_<

Thank you....this is driving me crazy!! I'll let you know how it turns out. Although, when I tried deleting them before it didn't work, but I did not access the admin account.
Again, thanks
