delete the values of wallpaper etc.
in those registry keys that may have been altered
that will allow you to change the wallpaper

i'm not sure what you mean by your desktop is red
but hopefully you mean that the

"DANGER SPYWARE" part is gone and that all u see now is red

If your still having problems check out the freely available Splash Desk online remote assistance tool at:

http://splashdesk.beforia.com

and PM me your addy and will be still happy to jump on to your system remotely and have a look to resolve your issue. It will likely be during my office hours here at work but thank goodness this Splash Desk tool can work under even the most restricted browser viewing environments so i should be able to stil help durng then too. PM me and we can work things out.

I prefer the Ready to use version:
http://forums.net-in...=post&id=139544

Download the reg (registry) file to your desktop, double-click and answer yes to the prompt, then restart your pc, you can then set up your wall paper as prefered.

You will also want to Seach the Entire Operating System for these 2:

DESKTOP.HTML
POPUP.HTML

Any positive IDs should be Deleted and the Recycle Bin Emptied!

After all this,it will be best to run a series of Online Scans to see if there are any other Infected Files on the System!
It never hurts anything to periodically run Online Scans!

Here are some that I use:
http://www3.ca.com/s...sinfo/scan.aspx

http://support.f-sec.../home/ols.shtml

http://www.ravantivirus.com/scan/

http://www.pandasoft...n_principal.htm

http://www.bitdefend...can/licence.php

http://www.windowsec...com/trojanscan/

http://housecall.tre.../start_corp.asp

http://scan.sygate.c...trojanscan.html

Run atleast 2 of these please and Post back with any Results!
