I dont know if this post is in the right place but does anyone know of a way instead of having to buy a xbo 360 hdd you could some how use your own 3.5 or 2.5 hdd?

Apparently, you can plug a USB hard drive into a 360 as it comes, out of the box, no mods necesary. Just has to be formatted FAT32. On a side note, didn't Xbox 360s come with a hard drive?

It's also worth noting that any mods that involve popping the case are probably illegal, and Geeks to Go cannot and will not be party to illegal activities, of any kind.

nope premium did, i bought one yesterday like. i didnt want one but i got an offer i couldnt refuse lol.

a mate needed quick cash so i handed him £120 and got the console, 11 months warrenty, a memory card, game controler : p

I heard tho that pluggin your hdd into the usb port wont allow you to save downloaded xbox games on it tho

That's probably true, but the idea is, you put everything except your saved games on the USB hard drive. Music, movies, the like.
