:whistling: I have several Spyware programs, some of which I keep on all the time and the others I just run often. With Trojan.Popuper and Zango Search Assistant, SpyDoctor is the only one that picks them up. Each time it tells me that it has removed them, but it never really does. I am attaching 3 log scan results along with the HijackThis results. How should I proceed?

:whistling: Things are looking really grim now. In a few short hours I have lost much control of my system. I cannot get to System Restore, open the Command Prompts, find the Registry to edit, open any exe. files/programs. I don't know if I will be able to stay on the Internet much longer. Please help!!

Originally, on November 9th, I posted that I could not get rid of Zango or Trojan.Popuper malware after many attempts. No sooner did my system start to go crazy. So now, on November 11th, I am submitting another post seeking help on the much greater problem that has arisen.

I unplugged myself from the Internet and ran every spyware program over and over, then tried to save as much data as I could on discs. First, I noticed that my desktop icons were all changing, then programs would no longer open or be recognized, even while I was using them. I was unable to execute any programs in the traditional ways. I did, however, manage to find some ways around to get a few of them to open.

I have been unable to run the "Hijack This" program to get a report for you, as well as any other scan reports, since my first post.

I work on my computer day and night for MultiMedia using multiple programs simultaneously, so this is an extreme inconvenience to say the least. I think I managed to slow down whatever was going on, but certainly I do not know how to undo the damage and get rid of this malware completely. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Here is the link to my previous post.

Hi kryshten,

Sorry for the long wait.

Download and unzip BFUzip from http://www.merijn.org/files/bfu.zip
Run the program and click the Web button as shown here:

Use this URL to copy into the address bar of the Download script window:
http://metallica.geekstogo.com/MediaGateway.BFU

Make sure all IE windows are closed.

Execute the script by clicking the Execute button.
You should see a progress bar while the script is being executed.

If you have any questions about the use of BFU please read here:
http://metallica.gee...structions.html

Then reboot the computer and post a fresh HijackjThis log

Regards,
