Yesterday my laptop stopped allowing me to open internet explorer, norton antivirus and most of the other applications on it. It will open google earth and realplayer but freezes.
I tried running norton in safe mode which ran a scan but picked up nothing.
I also downloaded avg onto disc to try and install but I couldn't access explorer to open it.
All very annoying.
Has anyone got any ideas as to what is causing this and as to how I might remedy it? I'm stuck for ideas.
