You should be able to get thru a install with the above site. I don't agree with him on using a DOS prompt to format. You can usually justput the windows cd in a drive and boot up to the cd and install. If you don't wipe the previous windows off the drive you will need to tell the computer this is a new install.

A clean install is the way i like installing as there are no problem with old data, viruses, etc on a clean drive.http://www.winsupers...pro_install.asp
By the way Win 2000 installs exactly the same as the pro edition.
