Hi kotak77...

How did you replace the file? When you open the Themes folder, do you still have both the Aero folder AND the Aero file?

I'll try...

I'll attach files one at a time so they don't get mixed up...the two aero files are slightly different. Go to the Themes folder and open the Aero folder. Right click on the aero file and choose "Delete". Then go back to the Themes folder and delete the aero file from there, as well.

Download the attached zip file and save it to your desktop. Right click on it and choose "Extract All"...extract it to C:\Windows\Resources\Themes\Aero

Now download this file and extract it to C:\Windows\Resources\Themes

Reboot and see if your Aero theme is back.
