I think this is where this goes. I have windows 98 on Hewlett Packard Pavilion. Everytime I pull up crazy browser it ends up shutting down saying crazy browser has performed an illegal opperation. It has been doing this a while maybe once every 2 hours or so, but now it does it every 5 minutes or even faster than that. Any suggestions. I know the computer has problems that need fixing. Thanks. To your success!

Hi Chris.

I think I'm correct in saying that Crazy Browser is actually just a different interface for Internet Explorer, with useful add-ons like page-tabs.

So the problem may actually be with the IE 'engine' that CB uses, rather than a problem with CB itself. It would be help ful, therefore, if you could try using the 'real' IE too see if the same problem occurs. Then post here again and we can take it from there.

Footnote: Just discovered there's a beta version of CB vailable. If you are using this, that could be a factor also. Try using the latest finished version instead.

Hi pip22,
Thank you for the response. Last night I was looking everywhere for an answer to my problem My browser was shutting down every 5 minutes or quicker sometimes. Real irritating Im sure you know what I mean I found a site that had instructions posted to help speed up computer and fix problems internal on the computer. That has taken care of a lot of the problems. I will check on CB to see that I have the latest version. I think you are correct that it is a different interface for Internet Browser. I know that Internet Browser was shutting down recently when I used it last. I do appreciate the answer I will make sure that I have the latest version. I will put a link for this site on my forums. Looks good and helpful. To your success!
