recently I just got a laptop. My router is far away and it was a hassle to get xbox live and ps2 online set up. Now I got this laptop with wireless and an ethernet port. I did Internet Connection Sharing and all my settings are correct. I hook it up to my xbox and theoretically, it should work each time. However, sometimes it doesn't. I have a 5% success rate. All I do is restart my console a few times and my laptop a few times and after each restart I have that success rate. It is horrible. I don't get why it only works sometimes with a constant method. My wires aren't loose because my laptop detects a connected wire.
