I have run SMITREM and SMITFRAUDFIX as outlined in instructions. I then run AVG Anti Spyware which does a good job of identifying the infection, it just won't delete it. AVG shows it as being deleted, but it returns with every scan. I have used the Trens Micro scan with same results. Need some help. I have no experience posting logs, but I'll give it a shot. Here are logs from HiJAck This and AVG. Thanks in advance for any help.

You may want to print out these instructions for reference, since you will have to restart your computer during the fix.

Please download FixWareout

http://downloads.sub.../Fixwareout.exe
or
http://swandog46.gee.../Fixwareout.exe

Save it to your desktop and run it. Click Next, then Install, then make sure "Run fixit" is checked and click Finish. The fix will begin; follow the prompts. You will be asked to reboot your computer; please do so. Your system may take longer than usual to load; this is normal.

When your system reboots, follow the prompts. Afterwards, Hijack This will launch. Close Hijack This, and click OK to proceed. )

Fix these with HJT – mark them, close IE, click fix checked

· This will open a commad prompt.
· Type or copy and paste the following line in the command window:

ipconfig /flushdns
· Hit Enter

Thank you for the help. I was able to follow the above instructions and I am now free of the bug. I am not at my home computer, so I cannot post the log. I did not have any connection problems following the fix. I appreciate the quick response. Mike
