I ran your malware search prior to posting -
AdAware SE found 5 TAC cookies w/ a 3 rating -
it always find something -

I also use AVG anti-virus, spybot S & E, ZoneAlarm
and RegClean and Windows updates automatically -

there is something going on w/ the recycle bin -
sometimes it will indicate that windows.system folder
is in there and can't be deleted - I ran the recycle bin
fix, but this still happens periodically -

and that's not what brings me here -

my PC sounds like a lear jet preparing for take off -
not all the time, but relentllessly - I expect it may fly
off the desk while I'm working one day -

I have gone into msconfig and taskmgr - the 2-3 programs
running high or above normal - csrss.exe and winlogon.exe
are in the right folders - though I'm not convinced that winlogon
isn't the problem -

I shut down things that did not need to run on startup -

the lear jet still prepares for take off every few minutes -

I cannot find the culprit - but I know one is in there because -

- things on my desktop are found skewed around -

- ms word ate a document yesterday - WHILE I was working
on it it closed up and disappeared - I ran a search and it's nowhere
in the PC - I had saved this doc in 2 different locations and when
I opened the alt, all that I saved had reverted back to the old text -

no one else has real time access to the PC - only me -

HJT is below - thanx in advance for your help -
