Hi,
this is very common, what has happend to you is you have a missing or corrupted dll file in windows that handles the ssl decryption. you will want to re-register the following dll's and it should fix your issue.

to reregister a file click on start and run and type "regsvr32 nameofdll.dll" then hit ok. if you are in doubt or afraid this will mess up your computer, it wont, see this ms kb article
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/813444

softpub.dll
wintrust.dll
initpki.dll
dssenh.dll
rsaenh.dll
gpkcsp.dll
sccbase.dll
slbcsp.dll
cryptdlg.dll
url.dll
urlmon.dll
shtml.dll
actxprxy.dll
oleaut32.dll
shell32.dll
shdocvw.dll
msjava.dll
browseui.dll
shell32.dll
schannel.dll
rsabase.dll
