Some years ago when i was 10 or so my dads Dell desktop got killed by humidity (or at least the CD drive and MOBO did....) the only parts that survived and where tested to see if they worked were the Hard drive (40gb) and a Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 audio card


I guess i was wrong.... the SB Live card didn't work, the computer did not detect it :whistling: I tried in two different PCI slots and also disabled onboard audio from BIOS but to no avail :blink:

I guess I'll be stuck with AC'97 onboard audio for the rest of this computers miserable life...
