Very Slow Internet

My internet has gotten very slow for no reason, it takes extra long to get to websites..

i have run scans with my anti-virus (norton) and spyware programs (spybot + adaware se) and nothing comes up.

What should i do?

try doing a standard cleaning

from start>>run>>type in>> prefetch>>click ok>>the folder will open>>select edit>>select all>>on any blue file ..right click then delete

from start go to all programs>>accesseries>>system tools>>diskcleanup>>uncheck program files>>check temporary internet files>>>> recycle bin>>>temporary files>>>compress files>>click ok

then go back to start>>accesseries>>system tools>>disk defragmenter>>no need to analyze just defragment.......once complete>>>> restart computer

a much more cleaning can be done but try that for now
