I purchased a new ASUS laptop with all the new Core Duo stuff, etc. When I got my laptop I checked to make sure it had a PCMCIA card slot. I did not try to put a card in the slot. I bought a Buffalo High Speed card and tried to put it in the slot and it would not fit. It has about an inch out of the righthand bottom side of the slot that will not except the card. Does anyone know of an adapter that would work with this? I tried the USB Adapter for 32 Bit Cardbus Wireless Modem ards and it will not work on my computer. Do you know of another solution?

Are you sure that slot is not a card reader for digicam memory cards?
