I am using SBC Yahoo Browser...

just recently, when I choose to open a new browser window, it opens through Internet Explorer! It's never done this before...It usually just opens another window through Yahoo.

Why is it doing this? What do I need to do to make it so IE does NOT open!

Please help!

Yes...I have made SBC Yahoo Browser the default browser.

I have checked all of my settings on both SBC Yahoo Browser and IE 6.

I even uninstalled SbC YB and then reinstalled. I've rebooted several times.

For awhile, it was okay but then out-of-nowhere the problem continues.

When I choose to open new browser window, it forces the window to appear through IE6.

Any ideas?

Possible idea is to check Start>Settings>Folder Options and click the File Types tabs and find every file that is set to be opened by IE and reset it to the browser you want to use.

Also, sometimes you may have in the Options/Preferences of your browser something like "Restore Last Default Browser", like in MyIE2.
