Windows XP shutdown problem

Hi all i installed winoptimizer 3.30 and did the REG clean up and the internet tune up and it stoped my system from shuting down.

it just hangs when i go to start shut down.

When i look in task manager there was a program called "sysfader" what was not responding and i found that was linked to my nvidia GFX card so i reinstalled the driver for that and that fixed that from not responding.

But still when i go to start shutdown it still hangs. i have completely no idea what to do next apart from reinstall windows but i realy dont want to do that if i can help it. :whistling:

also if i got to windows upate web site it hangs IE as well....

i have uninstalled winoptimizer 3.30

SYSTEM SPEC
Windows Xp pro
P Dual Core 820
1GB DDR2 Ram
Geforce 6200LE 256Mb

fixed a m8 of mine spoted it i had mcafee AV and NOD32 on at the same time and uninstalling mcafee fixed my falt i thort i did uninstall mcafee but i uninstalled the firewall by mistake
