Hey there thierryd, welcome to Geeks To Go Forums.

* Is this a new cd/dvd player or did it work before?
* Have you tried updating it's firmware?
* Did you install any new hardware?

Let me know, cool :whistling:

Hi,

Many thks for the reply. I'll post the error msg i get tonight when i get home.

About the drive, it used to work perfectly before and I did not install any new hardware. The only thing is that this started to happen after i remove a virus/worm....

I have not tried to update the firmware but i will try that tonight

Thank you

Thierry
