Few questions about the icemat siberia headset (the newegg description is sorta confusing)

1: Where's the mic?

2: Is the little "soundcard" required?

Newegg says "Also included in the package is a remarkable little USB soundcard with Virtual 7.1 surround, extremely suitable for gaming, music and movies.
Supports 3D positional. The Icemat Siberia USB Soundcard is a small, yet powerful full surround soundcard."

I'm referring to the icemat 10062 listed here: http://www.newegg.co...N82E16826249004

Thanks..

From the product specifications description (click on the Specifications tab at that link), the mic is detachable, and can be clipped on pretty much anywhere.

The 7.1 surround usb card is not required, and is just there to add more functionality to systems with very basic onboard sound, without adding internal or high cost hardware.
