I have wireless internet. Sometimes when I am on the internet I lose connection to my modem and I cant find it anymore no matter how close I am to it. It is a new wireless modem from d-link and it has turbo charged a,b and g. Anyone know why this is happening. This happens about twice a week and it's getting pretty annoying cause i have to walk two floors to get to my basement to reset the modem.

Hi. Are you resetting both the modem and router?

Ok, I'm a bit confused now. For a computer to connect over a wireless, you must have a router... Do you have perhaps a modem/router combo?

Ok, so to confirm, it's a combo device, right? Also, who is the manufacturer, and what is the model?

Ok, how about your wireless adapter? Did you buy it, or is it internal, and came with the system?
