I'm looking for a real nice registry cleaner. A lightweight one at. If someone could give me a console based registry cleaner, it'll be awesome. I don't want to install a mammoth sized software for simple task such as cleaning my registry.

Easy Cleaner is also very good. It can remove unnecessary files as well as clean the registry. It can tell you what percent of your memory is being used. I have used it for years with no problems.

I am definitely biased
I have used Registry First Aid for years as well. Lost it once, to another "try-sie" and darn near lost my mind
It is not freeware, but it is very reasonable, for the work it saves the user...it does the one thing that I demand of any reg cleaner... HUNT AND KILL automatically!
I spent a few yrs wandering in the wildness, zapping entries one at a time... With RFA you can enter the key word then let IT do the hunting and the killing in short order. It will do about 68Mb [my present size] in less then a minute... I run it and Norton Windoctor at the same time and in tandem, when I play simple Windows games.
1. Check the reg for errors
2. Defrag the reg
3. Search the reg [this is the one I use most often]
4. Manage the reg
5. Reg snapshots
6. Creates a full reg backup once a day, or whatever number of times you want over a time span
7. Restore reg from a full backup
8. Restore reg from a *.reg backup
