Ok, I finally got the new drive to work - I had it set as master on the jumper settings and forgot that id it's the only drive i had to remove the jumper completely - Doh!

Anyway, i am trying the ghost image now as it reconises it as bootable :whistling:

I'll let you know if it works!

Thanks Keith - I have partion magic, whcih has always worked well for me.

Anyway, the Ghost restore worked very well! Very happy. I have also gone against the 2 removable drives as a way for keeping my work seperate as it was causing some boot up problems for me. I have instead just set up to account on the same drive and have schedule daily backups of my work.

Thanks again for thrte help, much appreciated and i have printed this out for future use as there are some good tips here!

I do beg your parden, i never notice there were 2 different product there!

Yes i have got the serials for both, i would appreciate it (again) if you could upload them for me!

btw - what is the driver genius usefull for or what should it replace as it seems to do alot of things?

Driver Genius can save any drivers installed to a file, and then you should be able to install them all in one go
