Hey guys

I was stupid enough to download a couple P2P programs.

I read the FAQ's about how it will brick a WRT54G with my firmware and I think it did.

In the past day my connection dropped out 2wice and its starting to irratate me.

When I downloaded another P2P client, it wanted to change my port number for UDnD or something along that nature and of course I let it and now I just dropped and Im back online

I am using DSL
Westell 6100 modem
Linksys WRT54G

Hey there Yield22,

Sounds like a problem with your LSP, you may have contracted malware from those P2P programs.

So please read this: Read This Before Posting A Hijackthis Log (Click on the link)

That will give you steps that will help you clean up 70% of the problems yourself. Then please download "Hijackthis" and run Hijackthis with log. Save the log file here: Malware Removal - HiJackThis Logs Go Here

When you have followed all these steps. A Geeks To Go Staff Member will help you fix your problem.

(Note: Please be patient, the "Malware Forum" is a very busy place and a two or three day wait is not unusual.)

Thank you and goodluck. :whistling:
