so Vista comes out in a few days, but from what i hear its super protected. Like u can only validate twice (reformat 2x only) I reformat min of 2x a yr. Then after that u can no longer use that copy and u have 2 get a new one. Can some1 clear up the EULA a bit. Is this tru ? or can i install unlimited amount on my computer? Also is there other vital info i should know? Cuz vista costs mucho $$ to only allow u 2 validate 2x.

I suggest you check out the vista forum under the operating systems, people have already raised this question numerous times. To my knowledge Microsoft has changed it's EULA because of all the protest from ppl who build their own machines.

You can only validate the OS on two DIFFERENT machines. But MS are working on a new liscense agreement for the release of the versions of OS for normal folk, it doesnt come out to January its corporate release first the releases for everyone else are still january as far as i know.

Even for OEM its enterprise, MS arent officially releasing it for home users till january. There is a new validation system you may have trouble with it but i dont know it will be different from beta and RTM in the final.
