Lately, I have been able to make limited use of Win Explorer, although each session ends with an error message and sudden termination.

However, since this afternoon, Explorer will not open any of the text files on my hard drive. When I attempt to open a file, I get the following error message: "Cannot find the file 'C:\Documents\092906.txt' (or one of its components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available."

This has me mystified -- I don't know how to address this problem, but I need to do something, since I have a lot of important data stored in these files.

Any suggestions?
