Dell 8300, 4GB RAM, nVIDIA GeForce 7800 GS AGP, nVidia ForceWare PureVideo, set to 1280 x 1024, 60 hertz, etc.

I just upgraded to Internet Explorer 7.0. After doing so when I close IE 7 it leaves a video trace of the open IE 7 window. To get rid of the window I have to click a spot in the window which opens a square area then I right click and select refresh. It did not do this prior ot the IE 7 install. Does anyone have any idea what's causing this and how to fix it? Thank you.
