Using Publisher in the Microsoft Office 2007 Beta. Doing a merge to create a catalog. Is there any way to suppress blank lines (i.e., if there is no information in a field, we don't want a big gap between the field before the blank one and the field after it).

TIA --

If Publisher 2007 is like Publisher 2003, while on step 5 (last step) of the merge wizard, before you "create new publication" or "add to existing publication", click File, Print Merge. There is a checkbox for "Don't print lines that contain only empty fields". This is all I could find on it.

However, if you do your merge in Word, Word has "remove blank lines" enabled by default.

That option does not seem to be available in 2007 (they narrowed it down to 3 steps instead of 5, BTW).

Anyone else have any ideas?

Thanks!
