Strange Problem

Recently, when i played music and games, my sound would skip and would be unbearable. Well, i updated my sound drivers and now my music works fine, but the games don't. I discovered that when i keep my mouse still, the sound is fine. But when i try moving it, it becomes skippy. Anyone have any solutions or idea's?

Hello Ed Williams and welcome back to Geeks To Go

I have just checked your HJT log and can see no malware within it. I do notice however that your XP system does not have either SP1 or SP2 installed. We would not be able to help you without the SP1 patch installed as an absolute minimum. Surfing without either of them is not a good idea as you will be prone to infections.

You need to go to http://www.microsoft...p1/default.mspx to get updated.
