Hi. I still get searchmiracle popups and payopopups too and 1 from ads.revenue when i turn on the computer. Also i dont know anything about logfiles so is there anything else in this that i should delete and if so how do i go about deleting it. Thanks a mil for yer help in advance

Hi there,

I see you have bearshare installed. Bearshare is bundled with spyware, that's why I suggest you to uninstall it along with the bundled spyware that came with it.

So uninstall:

Bearschare
WildTangent
Altnet

* Download LQfix.zip
Unzip it and save it to your desktop, don't use it yet!!

* Please set your system to show
all files; please see here if you're unsure how to do this.

* Start HijackThis, close all open windows leaving only HijackThis running. Place a check against each of the following:

* Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.

* Reboot into Safe Mode`: !!Important!!
°To get into the Safe mode as the computer is booting press and hold your "F8 Key". Use your arrow keys to move to "Safe Mode" and press your Enter key.


Using Windows Explorer, locate the following files/folders, and delete them:

C:\Program Files\t7dmkeb8 <== this folder
C:\WINDOWS\gaSrv.exe
C:\Program Files\websx <== this folder
C:\WINDOWS\qtsks.exe

* Doubleclick LQfix.bat that you saved on your desktop before.
A doswindow will open and close again, this is normal.

* Start Ccleaner and click Run Cleaner

* Reboot your system back to normal mode.

Post back a fresh HijackThis log and I'll take another look.
