hi, i was wondering if someone could help me out. everything seemed to work fine until the other day. i downloaded the myspace im program, and after that it seems my computer has been running rather slowy. and when my hard drive activity light is on, my sound is distorted and lags. i uninstalled the myspace im thinking it may help. but it did not, and i reinstalled the sound drivers. sound is still distorted. i don't know if it was the im program that caused this, or if it just happened to be at the same time. but could someone please help me fix this. the sound is only distorted when the hard drive activity light is on. thank you

Please Click here!, and follow the recommendations in the guide.

If you're still having trouble, We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool, Hijack This. Follow the instructions in step five of this guide, and reply here with your log.

Most of what Hijack This lists lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.
