Do you mean that when you try to click certain links, you don't go anywhere? Do you get an error message? If so, please provide.
Has this been a problem from the beginning or did it just start happening?
Do you have antivirus and/or anti-spyware software installed? Do you keep it updated and do you scan regularly?

what happens when you click on certain links
is your right click disabled
what does your computer do
how old is this tower ... what was used for
was it used for work or just surfing and entertainment

it is left click. approx 5 years old. home computer

sorry. when you click on the link it just blinks and does nothing else. computer was used just for fun. no error mess. mostly happens in forums. when you hit link in forum mess to be redirected to othe rsite.

So what about antivirus and/or antispyware software? What do you have installed? Are the definitions kept updated and have you run a full scan recently?
Since you've had the computer, has this been an issue or was there a time when all the links worked?

no anti virus that I know of. been doing it since i got computer(1 week)

Then the first thing you should do is get antivirus software installed and run a scan.
