Nvidia Gforce ti 4600 fan is making grinding noise

Hi: This fan has been causing me problems forever now. I went and got some canned air and blew it clean of dust... it had a lot of it. MY questionis Id either love to replace it or further clean it. How do I take it off the 2 plastic clips without breaking it? Is their anything that can show me that? and what can i do to make it stop making this damned noise? Im really anoyed... and tell me if there is any better cooling solutions for it if you could.
