:tazz: I am not computer smart, but have a problem that no one seems to be able to help me with.
I run xp with sp2, have adaware, McAfee, and all are up to date.

My problem is that: When I disconnect from my ISP my computer freezes up and has to be powered down. This is a constant. I have took the computer down half a dozen times but the problem is still there. It is a Dell computer bought last year. I did not have the problems with my old computer. Can anyone suggest a solution?? ;)

Is this connect a dial-up?? If so make sure that you have the lastest version of the modem drivers. If that doesnt work then, try upgrading the firmware. Hope that this helps.
