How do I delete the run history. Like when I click Start, click on run, and type in a letter all these old searches come up. I was just wondering how I can delete them. I tried highlighting them and pressing Delete but it didn't work.

hi,

CCleaner (short for Crap Cleaner) does a safe and nice job of cleaning a system of useless miscellaneous information that seems to be collected by Windows in all sorts of strange places. On my own system, that I try to keep as clean a possible, it found and removed almost 500meg with no negative effects at all.

Yeah, I did that. Under advanced, what boxes should have a check beside?

hi,

i have never had a problem with ccleaner clearing run history but you could also do this - select taskbar and start menu, then select the "start menu" tab, click on "customize", select the "advanced" tab, and finally, click on the "clear list" button.
