nothing seems to happen
i am just going to take the battery out again and leave it for the night and then try again tomorrow.

Yeah clearing that CMOS jumper will haft to do it. Did you locate it yet?

hey
again
i reinstallled the battery
located the jumpers and unplugged it and plugged it back in
I changed the bios configuration to Configuration Mode and then reverted it.
NOTHING worked...
Maybe a bios update would fix it, but my laptop doesnt have a floppy drive.
now what???
