hello there,

maybe you freeze because of your computer specs

Please post these specs of your computer.

Processor
RAM
HD size
Graphics card.

I have a feeling its the graphics card for some odd reason. Is this onboard graphics?

ok download Everest Home Edition from this link

http://www.majorgeek...wnload4181.html

When you installed the program, click on the display tab and Click on windows Video. Than look at the video size.

Before we talk about buying a new video card, I wanna see how much MB is in your current one. also, what game are you trying to run?

Oh also, what version of Java are you running.

Also, run Windows Update so you can get the latest fixes from microsoft.

Freezing like that is usually caused by bad video hardware or out of date chipset dirvers. What is the exact model and manufacturer of your computer (or motherboard, if it was custom built)?

Well...it's not likely that anything being out of date is causing problems, but just to be sure...when was the last time you updated the nvidia display drivers? With nVidia drivers, being too up to date can cause issues.

Grab VLC Player (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/) and run a movie with it. Let me know if the freeze continues.

You will also want to make sure that your AGP (GART) Driver is up to date. Updates can be found at www.sis.com/download
Due to the way their site is constructed, making exact links to the driver is difficult.
