HELP win me corrupt file

i get a screen theat says the file is missing or corrupt C:\WINDOWS\IFSHLPSYS.WININIT.EXE

missing unable to load. then says hit any key to conntinue i do then error ; C;\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\VMM32.VXD

have windows me a dell dimension 8200

any hep? thank you
